Bears Could Be In Market For Running Back
The Bears could be in the market for a running back heading into their bye this weekend.
Adrian Peterson is expected to miss two to three weeks with a strained MCL in his right knee, and Kevin Jones has been lost for the season with an ankle injury.
Chicago has Matt Forte, Garrett Wolfe and practice-squad member Kahlil Bell available.
"It would be hard to go into a game with two running backs on our roster," coach Lovie Smith told the Chicago Tribune. "I'm hoping that we won't get to that point. If we get to that point, you always keep your options open.
"We have different options at every position right now, so we should be OK."
